My life has been a dynamic tapestry of athletic pursuits and transformative discoveries.
In my 20s, I had the thrill of representing Great Britain as an equestrian and racing as a flat jockey, even clinching two wins at the Carlisle Derby.
But the same mindset that pushed me to the top — the relentless drive, the "work harder" attitude — also pushed me into burnout.
I know what it's like to wake up feeling like your body is slowing down before your dreams are ready to.
Despite my active lifestyle and seemingly healthy habits, I began experiencing unexplained weight gain, relentless fatigue, and unbearable period pain.
Little did I know, I was grappling with PCOS. Inflammation, anxiety, and sleepless nights became my new normal, affecting not just my body but my relationships and mental well-being too.
Determined to find answers, I embarked on a personal journey of research and self-discovery. I sifted through endless diet fads — be it Slimming World, keto, you name it.
What I found was a pattern: these diets missed the mark.
They lacked sustainability, and more importantly, they never explained the "why."
I faced chronic fatigue, relentless cravings, painful periods, bloating, inflamed skin, and energy crashes so deep they scared me.
Diagnosed with 3 out of 4 types of PCOS, I was told by doctors to "just manage it" with pills and creams.
That wasn't good enough for me. And it’s not good enough for you.Instead of giving up, I studied. I experimented. I rebuilt.
And what I found?
